Trail's End Art Association is located at 656 A St., in Gearhart, Oregon. We are a non-profit, all volunteer-run association of artists. We have served artists on the north coast since 1950 and are the longest active art association on the Coast. We provide classes and workshops, monthly gallery shows, special events, and a gift gallery for unique art objects, cards, and prints.     The Trail’s End Art Association Gallery will open a new show in March featuring seascapes and landscapes by six artists in many mediums capturing our beautiful coastal area. There will be a reception for the artists on March 1, during the Gearhart Art Walk, 2-5 pm. This show will be open Fridays–Sundays, 11am–3 pm from
​March 1st – 29th.. 
     The six artists are: Rayanne Edwards is a watercolorist; Michael Muldroon, a prolific landscape artist who works in several mediums, especially oils; Linda Gebhart creates small seascapes in watercolor; Richard Newman has very captivating photography; Phyllis Taylor brought work in acrylics; and Steven Bash has photos and photo collages. 
     Trail’s End Art Association and Gallery is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year! It is the oldest non-profit art association of its kind on the Coast. Our rich history began long ago with a group of artists in Seaside, OR. They started getting together to hold painting sessions, sharing their knowledge, and encouraging those with little experience in art. They met in each other’s homes during the early years and eventually decided to form an organization which they named Trails End Art Association.

WHIMSICAL BIRDS - GOURD ART
Instructors: Mary Schlunegger & Mary Ann Gantenbein
Dates: Saturday-Sunday, April 12 & 13, 2025, 1-3pm
Cost: $45 Members $55 Non-Members
A two day workshop for making a whimsical bird.  Day 1, students make hand painted paper. Day 2, Attach the dried paper to a gourd creating an embellished whimsical piece of art. All material Provided. 
MINI SEASCAPES PAINT AND SIP-WATERCOLOR
Instructor:​ Linda Gebhart
​Date: Saturday, May 17, 2025 4-6pm
Cost: $45 Members $55 Non-Members
Join Linda Gebhart as she encourages you to create your own watercolor painting. She will share her techniques for working with the sea, rocks, trees, and coastal landscape. All materials provided, including wine if you'd like to sip while painting. Registration opens soon!

​Beginning Acrylics – A Tasty Exploration
​Instructor: Phyllis Taylor
Saturday, July 19, 1-4 pm
$40 members $50 non-members
    This is a paint and eat event. The 3 hr workshop explores beginning acrylics by painting a fancy desert that is provided, followed by a party eating the desert. All supplies included (bring your own if you have them. Instructor is also willing to have a few serious high school students as participants too.
