Tj lev
Tj Lev, retired to the Oregon Coast in 2021. Has been coming to the North Coast since she was a girl, when her Aunt Eleanor and Uncle Willard owned the Cannon Beach Bakery. Creativity has evolved through her life. At a very young age Tj’s mother taught her to sew and make clothing, dolls and lots of costumes. She loved Photography from a young age, capturing that moment in time. She has been a contributing writer for newsletters, has designed CD covers, fliers, and cards. She learned to play the Piano as a child, Flute as a tween, Guitar and Keyboard as a teenager, as an adult, inspired by her musical husband Joe Lev, learned to play Ukulele, the Zydeco Rubboard and other percussion instruments!
Tj began painting later in life, just before her 50th birthday. “I became overwhelmed with an urge to paint, couldn't help myself... I was obsessed and just had to paint!” Typically using acrylics; her art is whimsical, colorful, bold and fun. For Tj, color is one of the most exciting elements of painting. It can create energy, convey happiness, joy and a bit of magic! It can make ordinary objects and scenes seem enchanted. She is heavily folk art influenced and can be inspired by a small object, a shadow, a reflection, spiced up with a lively imagination and wacky sense of humor. Tj's Website: ophelias-flowers.com
