I have been painting for over 25 years. Prior to painting I worked in the travel industry. That all changed with the advancement of the internet, so I decided to pursue my first love, painting. I paint in many mediums, from watercolor, acrylics, to cold wax and oil with collage. I begin a painting by sketching out a piece and then adding color as the painting moves along. If I find success, I will now transfer the painting to canvas or board. Sometimes it works and sometimes not, however I find the journey to be extremely satisfying. I have shown my work in many places, from fine art galleries to restaurants, libraries , Coffee houses and various art shows. I am a member of OSA, (Oregon Society of Artists), WSO, (the Watercolor Society of Oregon) and Westside Women's Art Share.
