I have always loved art but never had the time to pursue my interests until I retired.  I was lucky enough to be referred to Trails End Art Gallery for classes after moving to the Coast from Portland in 2005.  I have taken watercolor classes from Judith Fredrikson, Jo Pomeroy-Crockett and Sheila Parsons.  I have taken many workshops:  in Taos, New Mexico with Patricia Abrahams from Northern California, a week on Orcus Island with Carolyn Buchanan, Molly Hasimoto in Watercolor Journaling at the Sikta Center. Watercolor with Tony Couch and Eric Wiegardt from Oysterville, Wa. two years with Faeling Lin, Watercolor pencil with Kristy Kutch and drawing and lino block with Sheila Brown.  My newest adventure has been creating designs in acrylic on paper for collage after a very inspiring workshop with Linda Rothchild Ollis.  I am also a member of the Pastel group at Trailsend led by Kathy Moberg and a member of the Pallet Puddlers in Cannon Beach.  I am thoroughly enjoying learning and experimenting with Watercolor, Pastels and Acrylics.
