Kathy Moberg
Kathy's art career began at the age of 10 when she first sketched paper dolls for the neighborhood children. By the time she was at Cal State at Fullerton she participated in the University's first juried show. She has served her community by creating illustrations for books, magazines and newspapers and several community murals and designed liturgical art. She is a long time resident of Seaside, Oregon. Her art isn't about portraiture, but rather a capturing of humanity in a certain time or space. She strives to paint in the moment, in a life or lives, that witness the ordinary- yet portrays the beauty and elegance of the human figure.
