Judy Madson
As an Oregon native, Judy has lived in Portland and Eugene but mostly on the north coast. Her artistic talent has been developed over decades and has taken her in many directions beginning with classes in design and art history to watercolor, acrylics, 3-D alcohol ink images, pottery and sculpture.
Her avid interest in color and design shows clearly in her lively and interesting work. She is also a world traveler, visiting many European museums. On one trip to Austria, she suffered a debilitating disease.
Overcoming tremendous odds, she was determined to enjoy making art once again. She needed to develop special techniques because of the limited use of her hands. She has persevered and is living her dream after returning to the coast and becoming a Trail’s End member.
