How to become a featured artist in 2025

GUIDE FOR MONTHLY FEATURED SHOW 2025HOW TO JOIN A MONTHLY FEATURED SHOW
Take a look at the schedule below, think about which feature month theme you might want to participate in and get creating! NOTE THAT FEATURED SHOWS ARE ONE MONTH LONG.

To participate

• Reply to the art call email, sent from the TEAA Gmail, for the show you want to participate in. It will be sent 2 months prior to the show.
• Participation in the monthly featured show will be limited to 6 member artists, up to 3 pieces each. (depending on size). The first 6 responses will participate!

Once you reply

• You will receive a response and be told if you are in the first 6 responses! Participants will be asked for information for the TEAA press release.
• A short 3 or 4 sentence bio about you, or the medium(s) you work in, or about the pieces you’ll be submitting for the show and
• A large file .jpg or pdf or two of your art you plan on submitting, (or something similar) to be included in advertising.

Art drop and pick up

1. The same schedule as Member Show. Sunday after 3:00 and all-day Monday, always the week prior to ArtWalk. ArtWalk is always the first Saturday of the month.
2. Pick up and drop off days/times do not work for you, contact the Gallery Manager ahead of time for alternatives. (Art dropped off too early, or too late or left behind after the show will not be stored without prior approval.)
3. List/write your featured show art in the same intake book as member art and complete the same entry label. For featured show art write an “F” next to the piece in the book and write ‘FEATURED’ at the top of the entry label and attached to the front of your artwork. This is important for the hanging committee!
4. Place your featured artwork in the Gallery for the Show Hanging committed to hang!​
